Great hotel- highly recommended

My husband and I stayed at the Albe Hotel for two nights on in September, 2006.  We were delighted with the location of the hotel, one block from the Seine, three blocks from Notre Dame, right in the middle of a bustling mix of cafés and attractive shops.  We found two wonderful, reasonably priced restaurants within a short walk from the hotel; La Rotisserie D’En Face and Le Comptoir.  Our room was small by American standards, but adequate for our purposes.  It was attractively decorated (Modern)and immaculately clean.  The staff members we encountered were friendly and helpful.  We will use the Albe Hotel every time we return to Paris.  We can highly recommend it.
